- A 8-storey building: tell me the building and floor so I can allow time for carrying equipment and, if there are several rooms, finish them all in one visit.
- The building is about 34 years old. Rooms still using the original aircon often have older models. Send a photo of the label on the outdoor unit before booking and I'll check the model and refrigerant first; if a unit needs a major repair, I'll tell you straight how it compares with a new one.
- In condo rooms the outdoor unit is usually on the balcony or in a service ledge on the building wall. Send a photo of where it is and I'll bring the right equipment.
- Rooms without a balcony can be cleaned: I use a drainage cover bag and lay a two-layer protective sheet, and leave the room tidy.

Si Phum is in the north-east of the moated Old City, with old temples, small guesthouses, shops and long-established homes all mixed together. Most buildings are in sois with limited vehicle access, and many had aircon added after they were built.
