Cleaning 5 wall-mounted aircons in one job, including a Beko: filters, indoor coils and outdoor coils before and after

The filters had dust caked on in sheets, the face of the evaporator coil had black dust, and the outdoor coil fins had grey dust over the whole surface.

Arm, the technician, was responsible for and carried out this job.

What I did

Laid down a tarp and fitted a drain bag under the unit
Removed the front panel and filters for washing
Washed the evaporator coil and fan wheel with the unit on the wall
Washed the outdoor coil, reassembled and ran a test

Result

The filters are see-through again, the indoor and outdoor coil fins are cleaner, and the units are reassembled and ready to use
