New Daikin installation in Saraphi: from the box to a unit on the wall

The site was a bare wall with no mounting points yet. I started by holding the mounting plate in place and checking the level, drilled through the wall to run the pipes and pipe trunking, and only then lifted the indoor unit into place. The outdoor unit went on a wall bracket outside the house.

Arm, the technician, was responsible for and carried out this job.

What I did

  1. Positioned the mounting plate and checked the level for the indoor unit
  2. Drilled the wall and ran the refrigerant pipes inside trunking
  3. Fitted the bracket and the outdoor unit outside the house
  4. Connected the pipes, pulled a vacuum and ran a test

Result

The indoor unit is level, the trunking runs in a straight line down to the outdoor unit, and the remote wiring has been neatly finished
