What is different about aircon work in Chang Moi

Chang Moi is a sub-district just outside the old city moat to the northeast. It covers the old trading district from Chang Moi Road through to the Warorot Market area, and most buildings are shophouses used as both a shop and a home under one roof.

    Rows of joined shophouses often put the outdoor units in a narrow gap behind the building with little airflow. The hot air circulates in that gap and gets drawn back into the unit. With a unit like this, cleaning only the indoor coil usually does not improve the cooling; the outdoor coil needs cleaning as well.

Cleaning them together is better value, because from three units it is 450 THB per unit and I finish everything in one visit. The next clean does not need to be at the same time, though: the ground floor, with its doors open all day, clearly comes due sooner than the upper floors.
